A company called David & Goliath has been selling a t-shirt that reads, "No Means No . . . Well Maybe if I'm Drunk!" That's right, a t-shirt for women (more like teen girls) condoning date rape. I can take a joke just as well as the next person, but rape is NOT funny. Ever.
Some feminist blogs picked up on this and they stopped selling the shirt. I am asking you to PLEASE send an email to their customer service department at questions@davidandgoliathtees.com requesting that any profit made from that shirt be donated to the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network.
There are truly no words to describe how horrified and upset I am by this. Every two minutes a woman is raped in America. One in three women in the world will be sexually and/or physically abused. David & Goliath should be ashamed.
