Starbucks Sucks

Starbucks faces opposition because of the way it chooses to run its business (big corporation, stores on every corner, running locals out of business), but here is yet another reason to get your caffeine fix elsewhere: Starbucks doesn't recycle. It is a crushing blow to the rest of the country and the world when huge corporations like Starbucks, who produce a lot of waste, don't put in the extra effort and recycle. Their website claims that not all of their facilities are able to recycle due to landlords and the local recycling programs, but that is not enough for me. When a company makes as much money (and waste) as they do, then I can see no good reason for them not to recycle.

If you are as bothered about this as I am, go to their website (www.starbucks.com) and let them know how you feel about their lack of environmental responsibility.

I heard this quite some time ago, and don't remember everything about it, but I can assure you it's credible.

Not only do they not recycle, but supposedly a good majority of their cups are made with a material (to save monetary resources, of course) that isn't ABLE to be recycled!

and seriously : i find it so expensive and not exceptional
