How many of you out there use paper napkins at home? Probably a lot of you, right? Why? You all want to save money and you all do laundry right? So why not use cloth napkins? If you invest in a few sets of them, you'll be all set.

After using them, simply stick them in the dirty laundry and wash them with your clothes. Not having to buy disposable napkins will not only save you money, but also a lot of trees and energy that it takes to make disposable napkins.

****To take ReUse even further, take an old table cloth and make cloth napkins out of it.

Compostable items are absolutely huge in our landfills today. You can compost those used paper towels and napkins . If you do use cloth napkins, you can put the dryer lint into the composter too. I line my little pail in the kitchen with old newspaper and it goes in with the egg shells, fruit and vegetable trimmings, coffee grounds. Hair from your brush, the dogs brush or the salon can also go into the composter and it's just plain nice for your garden whether it's edibles or flowers. :D
