Alex Brown, a member of the STAY VOCAL community, has put together a benefit art show to raise money for a friend who was diagnosed with cervical cancer as well as raise awareness of cervical cancer and the threat it poses to women. The show will be held at 153 West Second St, Pomona, CA 91768.
At the show, local artists are entering in art that will be shown at the monthly Second Saturday Art Walk in Downtown Pomona. There will also be handmade crocheted beanies, headbands, and some STAY VOCAL t-shirts for sale to raise money. All proceeds will be going to Amanda Wilson, who was diagnosed with cervical cancer.
