Hey everyone. I am asking you to go green. A few months ago I purchased some reusable shopping bags off ebay, the company that I bought from is Stay Vocal. I got these huge reusable shopping bags. Each bag will hold 54 pounds or 5 gallons of milk with some smaller stuff packed in. I stopped accepting plastic and paper bags.
When I buy groceries, since I cant drive anymore, I shop for the whole month in 1 trip. Now folks, that's a lot of groceries. When I hand the cashier my bags, they say it beats the crap out of the little reusable bags they sell. And other customers see them and stop to examine them and ask questions. I even have one that I hung off the headrest on my wheelchair. Now I can haul big boxes I get in the mail. Talk about handy dandy!
Not only am I reducing the landfill, but saving oil and trees. I paid $6.00 per bag and I swear by them. Give it a try, this is the best reusable bag I could find, and believe me I did a lot of research.
So come on & REUSE !!
